I used to work part-time for a big online firm in Singapore a long time ago. I worked there for six years, first as a developer, then as a general manager, and last as a product manager. I gained a lot of knowledge. Of course, what I discovered there might not be representative of web development as a whole. However, I did learn the need of a robust digital ecosystem, the advantages and disadvantages of web technology, and what businesses should do to ensure the web is still useful in the future. Later, I'll go into greater depth. I genuinely believe that more work has to be done by companies and web designers to develop dynamic, user-friendly, and compelling mobile applications.
